I think the "value" is lower , i had a better experience with the $350 one. 5 min consult for $350 seems like a steal! Reply Delete Story Aleea said...

To clarify, I am referring to the introductory offer on their website. The introductory offer (mentioned in the article) is $1,250, which is over 3 times what they are charging per minute (the quoted rate). Reply Delete Story Anonymous said...
I looked at their website, and while it's definitely a step up in quality from the cheap looking template-based websites out there, I found them to look more like "we can make you a great site if you spend $1,250." Reply Delete Story Anonymous said...
My website is worth much more but not the $16,000 they are offering. Can anyone tell me what I should charge for my services? Reply Delete Story Diane said...
$350 sounds about right. I'd be willing to pay that for an hour or so of consultation with someone in the know. Reply Delete Story Mike said...
Still, I have my doubts that it will be worth much at all to most people. I feel like the site looks a bit "plastic" and that there's very little content on it. If you're going to work with them, it would be best to drive a harder bargain. Reply Delete Story Aleea said...
someone who "wants my opinion" is more likely to hire a consultant than an obviosly cheap one! he's probably doing some things wrong too He also didn't mention how long his "consultation" will take, and if he has any experience or references. Reply Delete Story Anonymous said...
At $350, whoa. That's a bit steep-- even for some one who knows what they're doing. That's almost 2 hours worth of work at my hourly rate of about $200/hour. Reply Delete Story Anonymous said...
Just to play devil's advocate, what kind of website are you offering? If you're business is the type where you have a custom built site ($1K-$3K) then yes, $350 is silly low. However if your site is mainly used for e-commerce or news content it may be worth it (considering convenience) as they will continuously update your site and keep it current in their eyes. Conclusion: Such a website should be valued at $500-2,000.

Conclusion: Such a website should be valued at $250-350. The person said it was great for a small business, but it lacks a blog and is missing basic pages (like "About") so the company could use some work to actually build the site. Reply Delete Story Aleea said...
I had my website done by Creative Minds and I am very pleased with the final result. I really like their style and design.
