Share Success With Others To Get More Visitors!

If you’ve been on the internet for a while, you’ve likely seen comments about how to “give up everything and just blog” and how it is the best way to get more traffic.

But what these obnoxious people don’t tell you is that blogging is like a loving relationship — if it dies, it can be rebuilt. And here are some of the techniques that have worked for me.

*Blog consistently - It seems simple enough but if you blog only once a week, no one will notice when they come back during your next scheduled post time. If you get into the groove of posting once a day (or even 3 times a week, if you can-ladies, I know your schedules are crazy!) viewers will be looking forward to it and it will hold their attention better.

*Be interesting - The number one rule of blogging is that no matter what you blog about, follow your heart and be interesting about it. This is so imperative because if you don’t find something interesting in the subject you are blogging about, why would someone else? Remember: people come to blogs for entertainment, so provide them with it .

*Share popular content - This technique is for blogger sites. It is a pretty simple concept: share information on your blog that others are already sharing. Look on the internet and find what people are sharing. Find out why they’re sharing it and write about it. The people who made the popular content will see that you shared what they made, and on the off chance that they see YOUR blog, they’ll stop by to read your stuff too. This is how you earn back your reputation that was lost when someone found your blog and deleted it. The trick is to make sure that you credit them properly and make their content seem like yours.

*Link out - You can place a link on the side of your blog or at the bottom of every post with anything that could be relevant to the post itself. I do this all the time, especially if I know nothing about what I am posting on my blog. I do this so that if someone clicks on this external link, they will most likely see what I’m posting about and it will be interesting to them.

*Write about random things - This requires you to have a personal web log. If you’ve never blogged before, you can get the free blog from Blogger.com (http://www.blogger.com) or create your own site with WordPress (http://wordpress.

Conclusion

You can be successful as a blogger. You just have to make the right choices in order to do so. Blogging is not difficult, but it does take time and effort. Blogging can be a very rewarding experience but if you do it right, you will receive more support from your readers and create more opportunities for yourself.

In the end, blogging is about gaining followers and followers are what you want in life: personal recognition that you have achieved something, acceptance by your peers or other people who share similar interests and sometimes even financial security. When you win this kind of battle, it gives everything else in life meaning.
