Making Money Online: Persistence is the Key

Making Money Online:  Persistence is the Key

Don't give up on your online business. Even if you are struggling this year, continue to work hard towards your goals and don't get discouraged by the challenges you face. You never know what will happen next year!

I'm going to share a story of one entrepreneur who did just that - he didn't let change discourage him, and in the end it all paid off for him. That's not all though: there is another point I want to make too. Looking at those inspiring stories can be great, but it's important not just for entrepreneurs...

The success of others is something we should use to do more - not less - as it will only benefit us in the end. I hope you put some effort into your online business today!

Hi Guys,

It's been a while since I have posted.  As many of you know, I have been working on my big project - Selling an online book.  It has been quite a journey and it is by far the biggest undertaking I have ever done in my many years of studying and experimenting with Internet Marketing . The price of the book was $97 (I decided to make it affordable since I really wanted to do this) . The price included access to four hours of video training as well as an ebook, resource guide and software that accompanies the book.   The price was set so that every one, even those who are just getting started online can afford to get the lessons. The first chapter of the book is free and you can read it by clicking on the link below.
I have said in prior posts that I would not make much money or even break even on this project but it is more than that.  I wanted to prove to myself that I could do this - despite all the odds against me. I have a day job and I am married with children so it is difficult to spend the time on marketing this project.  However, I knew that if I did not take action and work at it daily that the dream would never come true.
The book is called, "Making Money Online:  Persistence is the Key" . This was a lesson for me as it applies to my online business .  In order to be successful, you must keep going even when others tell you that you are wasting your time or are out of control.   If you stop following your dreams - whether in life or in business - then you will never know what could have happened.  You also never know if you have made the right choice. The choice of doing this or not was mine, and I was only responsible for my choices.
I did not set out to write the book. I wrote it because it was something I wanted to do, and wanted others to learn from.   It is also something that I am passionate about - and I am still learning more everyday.  I created a Facebook Page which has turned into a page on Facebook for this book, which has helped to generate interest in the project - over 14,000 likes so far (at the time of writing).  It has also generated interest in the training videos.
Every month I have had more than 200 people sign up for the free chapter of the book, and I am thrilled that so many people are enjoying them.  I have been amazed at how much attention this project has gotten - just through being on Facebook. In addition, I have had over 100 people sign up for my new coaching program.  I know that some reading this will be interested in this program as you can see by looking at my social media.  I suspect many will be interested even if they are not signed up yet, as I am sure there are many who have been watching me build my online business and then thinking about jumping in themselves.

Conclusion:  You have to start somewhere.  The day you make the decision to do something is special, and that's why it is important to keep going when others tell you you are crazy for doing so.
I have had so many people who email me or comment on my blog tell me that they are going to start their online business.  Many of these people found out about my book while looking at the Facebook page. I hope that this book helps others by showing them just how much they can accomplish with a little perseverance and their passion for it.
Remember: "There is no failure, only feedback.
