Step six: mix and match.  There are different kinds of travel packages depending on who's offering them and what you're paying for. Here's a quick rundown on some of the other most common types of deals:

Air Only-- Flights can be expensive, especially if you're travelling overseas, so you might want to look for air-only deals if you can. If money isn't an issue but time is, you might be able to find a deal where the airline offers to fly you back home the day after your return flight. You'll have to stay at least one night at your destination before flying back but it's well worth it if they offer to fly you home for free!

Step seven: don't forget to check out special offers.  You'll find plenty of other deals online, including weekend getaways, honeymoons, and even special holiday packages and family deals. There are also group rate deals and other great ways to save money with friends or co-workers!

Step eight: enjoy your vacation!  Whether you're traveling via train or plane, a bus tour, or rented motor home--now is the time to have fun! Visit the sites you researched so you can see where your money went when it's all over.

Step nine: get back to work.  Don't forget that vacation is supposed to be a break from the daily grind. Enjoy it while you can! Step ten: make sure you don't come back too relaxed.
