Well, this is like that - only you don't have to have a website, or any followers or even traffic for that matter. First of all, you'll need to install an amazing tool called traffic exchange. They're basically free to use, and they give you free traffic sent straight to your site whenever someone responds to your adverts or "advertises" about your website. You can advertise ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS' CATEGORIES (online stores, anything from electronics to furniture) without limit... Once someone wants more information about your product/service and clicks on one of your ads, you get paid. It's totally legal.

This is FREE traffic, and it's so easy to get. The only thing you need is some basic knowledge of how to use Google Adwords.

Step #1: Go to Google Adwords and create an account. It's free to set up, but you'll need a credit card number. The first time I did this, I used a fake one and got my first 25 adverts free. (It's totally safe and no credit card information is stored on their website. )

Step #2: Once your account is set-up, you'll need to create an ad. You tell Google how much you want to spend on your adverts every month, and then you can choose from a variety of different styles (I used the radio button for 'Text Ads' which are the least expensive). Click on the 'Add New' button for a new ad, and select 'Ads with Pictures'.

Step #3: Click on the first option... "Existing website page". Then choose whether you want to target your advert at site visitors or email subscribers (you can choose both). Assign a URL from your website. I chose to use my main blog page because it has the most traffic. You can also choose to target only the first three results (the main pages of all the search engine websites) and then keep your advert on a separate page beneath them.

Step #4: Select 'Accept all cookies' and then click on 'Continue'. In this step, you'll need to put some text about your website, but you don't need to write a very long description. Just use that space for your adverts (there are plenty of other options too).

Step #5: Click 'Continue'. Next, just enter the keyword terms that you'd like to target. These will be the search terms that your ad will show for when people are searching for something in Google and Bing. I used 'micro niche' (this is a strategy I use a lot).

Step #6: There's no need to add any more information, so just click 'Continue'. You'll then be presented with your custom Ad Group. Your ads are automatically added to this group, so there's no need to create one manually.

Step #7: Click on 'Save and Continue'. In this final stage, you can enter a URL (i.e.
