Unlike shirts, however, you can't put them in the dryer without risking fabric damage so don't try!

2. Remember that the inside is just as important as the outside! Ties are meant for being worn over and over again so don't be afraid to keep it simple when it comes it cleaning. If you were to try and clean the inside of the tie just like you would the outside, you would end up making it too time consuming to keep up with. Instead, just make sure that you're not wearing a tie with stains on it if it's meant to be worn in a professional setting.

3. Wearing a tie isn't all about what people see! One of the most common mistakes people make will ties is that they think they have to wear them all the time for them to be considered "good ties.
