I produced a podcast in the past, but it ended up being an expensive hobby. Here are some things I wish I had known before creating my first business podcast:

Lastly, here are a few things you will need to start a podcast:

3) Create an engaging, professional, and consistent brand for your podcast. The identity of your podcast is what people will develop their opinion about it based on.

Conclusion: Unless you are doing a podcast with the sole purpose of learning how to do something, you will have to create a brand for your podcast. This can be as simple as having a logo and the name of your podcast.

4) Keep the audio/video quality high and consistent from episode-to-episode.

Conclusion: Create a quality template for your podcast and stick to it. This means that everything has to sound the same, have the same spot on screen, be on the same topic, and have similar content length and style within each episode show notes. Also, keep an eye out for any music you use that could possibly make it harder for people to listen to your show.
