These ads will most likely be showing related searches in the list, but it's up to you if you want them or not. It does do a pretty good job at bringing in traffic, so I can't really complain about that!

Display

These are mainly used by major websites or websites with large followings. They are shown on websites that have the word "Ad" or "ads" in them. Display ads can also be one of the main sources of ad revenue, as you'll be selling something that people are searching for anyway. These ads will most likely be in your video's description or in a different location on your channel, where they aren't very noticeable to the viewers. You're going to want to make sure that their placement isn't too off and that you have an informative description text that draws the viewer's attention instead of your video's thumbnail image. Text (or Search) Ads

Most people will probably never see these ads on their own. These are similar to search ads in the fact that they are shown when someone is searching for something on Google. Just like with search ads, these texts have large amounts of competition so you'll need to do something pretty incredible if you want them to actually show your ad. Make sure your product is really worth it!

How Does It Work?

When someone searches for a product or service, their query is converted into what's called an "Ad Group". This could contain hundreds or thousands of variations on that specific ad.
