Everyone knows the importance of email marketing, but most people don't know how to get started. This post breaks down the 7 steps you need to take in order to improve your email marketing.

1. List the benefits of having an email list. 
2. Decide on a newsletter style and get a domain name for your newsletter 
3. Find or create graphics that will be used for your emails 
4. Decide if you want to have an opt-in form in every email, or just on some of them 
5. Choose what kind of frequency you want, weekly? bi-weekly? monthly? quarterly?
6. Determine how many people to send one email too (remember that too many people might make your emails "spam" so this is limited) 
7. Determine how often you want to send your emails. Weekly, Bi-weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly? 
Remember that you can only send so many emails.
Remember to include keywords so that people who are interested in your content will find your email. You want people to be interested in what you're saying and not in the subject line :)
