6 POWERFUL VRE(Virtual Real Estate) Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense - Part 1

In this two-part series, I am going to share with you 6 POWERFUL virtual real estate business models that can be started in 2006 using Google AdSense. The first thing you should know about these six powerful virtual real estate business models is that they are passive businesses. That means, unlike traditional businesses where most of the thinking and work needs to be done by the owners, these six VREs are more hands-off and only need to be monitored every now and then to make sure everything is in order.

Have you ever wondered how many virtual cities exist in Second Life? According to Wikipedia's accurate estimate (at the time of this writing), there are over 2,821 virtual regions in Second Life (a lot more than that if we include all the private real estate). Talk about a LOT of real estate to sell! Looking at this number, I think it's safe to say that there is definitely a market for listing properties online. In fact, I am sure you can make a niche out of that.

My 6 VRE model for 2006-2007 would be to create a virtual real estate listing site that will allow people to list properties online. In addition, I will also develop software that can automatically manage the showings and transactions between interested buyers and sellers. Since the payoff is so big, I will name my site "VRE Inc". [IMPORTANT NOTE: If you do decide to go ahead with this model, please make sure you understand that there is NO REASONABLE CHANCE of losing money on this idea.

Conclusion: The portfolio will be huge and very broad (because you can list any kind of virtual wealth online) but so will the income potential. However, this model is not hands-off and it involves a lot of development work (more than $500 in software and web site development).
