I had them done about 6 months ago and it's awesome! My teeth are all white now (a bit of silver too) and everyone loves my new smile :) Even though I had them done in Thailand, the dentist that did my veneers was amazing. Not only was the price about a third of what I've heard it is in the US, the dentist is very well known and does this type of work all day so he must be efficient. He even uses Lumi White veneers, which are supposedly stronger than other brands. His English wasn't great but his assistant was fluent and translated everything for me. On a side note, I had a terrible experience with my "prettiness" dentist in Bangkok...I went to her because she had good reviews but she was very unprofessional (didn't wear gloves or masks) and did an extremely bad job on my teeth that needed redoing by someone else (who also wasn't great at English). Unfortunately, we didn't notice that until I returned home and had already paid for it. I did have a dental cleaning before my veneers but my dentist had never seen me before and so he was just winging it and did what he thought was best, which was not that great. My husband thankfully saw her in person and convinced me to go back to her instead because she had so many customers who loved her work. So I went back (only $20) and she fixed everything up really well :) Now, 6 months later, all of my teeth are white again except the front two bottom teeth, which were probably too old when they were done. I thought I would have problems since they are a bit yellow and the dentist used a color dye called Photon White, but they look very natural (not weird or like fake white teeth) and I've had no issues with them. Not only that, but my teeth are so white now that the dentists couldn't even tell that they were old veneers until he looked more closely at them. So if you're thinking about getting veneers in the States, go to this dentist first because he seems to be one of the best in Thailand and has amazing reviews. His website is here: http://www.spirolabdentalhospital.com/ I'll try to remember to take a picture of my teeth and upload it. He charges 5,000 baht for the consultation and 10,000 baht for each tooth that's done. So for four teeth it's 30,000 baht. I don't know what the exchange rate was but let's just say $1,000 USD. That's not bad at all! He did all four top front teeth in one day (about 8 hours) and another visit to fix the bottom fronts (which took about 4 hours). Shopping for Veneers? These Tips will Help you Find Affordable Dental Veneers
How much will dental veneers cost?
Dental veneers are perfect for anyone with damaged teeth that need repair or anyone who simply wants to have a beautiful smile. Before you decide on these cosmetic covers, consider the expense of dental veneers and learn why they are the best solution for your needs. In fact, you might find out that fitting your budget is a snap when it comes to having attractive new teeth once again.
Costs Begin to Drop with Experience
If you're not used to getting work done on your teeth, a veneers clinic will offer you care that is affordable and therapeutic. Veneers are created using tooth-colored composite material which can be sculpted into a shape that does not require extensive drilling. When the technician is creating an impression of your teeth, they will begin by taking a picture so that they can recreate it in the form of a veneer. This means the material is formed to fit perfectly around the damaged area of your mouth and then polished to perfection. You might choose between porcelain or resin (a type of plastic) and both have similar results. While the actual creation of veneers does not require extensive work, the price is still higher than other forms of dental care.
The Cost of Veneers Drops with Experience
The cost of dental veneers is similar to that of other cosmetic treatments. However, if you are experiencing high costs due to your lack of experience then this may be a good time for you to invest in yourself. The more years a dentist has spent working on patients, the cheaper their services will be. Dentists who have been working for a decade or more can offer lower prices because they understand what it takes to create beautiful smiles and they have seen it all before in terms of damaged teeth. Their experience means they know how a specific process should look and feel, which reduces the time it takes to work on your teeth.

Conclusion

The price of dental veneers is something you should concern yourself with if you are looking to improve your smile. Have a dentist give you an estimate before the veneer is created to ensure that they are the right choice for you and that your teeth will be given the attention they deserve during the treatment. When looking at cost, think about what it means for the overall success of your teeth. If you're not used to paying for cosmetic work on your teeth, then there is no need to worry when it comes to spending more on veneers. However, if this is a regular part of treatment, then you may have found a great dentist who can give you a wonderful smile without breaking the bank every time.
