The Global Resorts Network scam is a complex one. The company sales letter heavily utilizes various social networks, forums and other communities in order to reach out to potential investors. Potential investors are told that they will be able to make $1,700 per day with little work, but are not informed about the exact nature of the business model. Obviously, there is no reason for a travel company to issue cashier checks for its clients. This makes it obvious all these checks will bounce and the bank will charge an NSF fee. Investors who fell for this scam lost their money without any indication if GRN was real or fake and if their investment was used for good or bad causes.
