Getting Your Business Online In An Hour

Getting Your Business Online In An Hour

Landing a new customer is hard work. Getting them to come back again and again to purchase from you can be even harder.
Attempting to do this without an online presence is like trying to run a marathon without training: you might have the energy and willpower, but there's no guarantee of the results.

Luckily, getting your small business online in an hour is achievable— with WooCommerce! WooCommerce makes it possible for any business owner to start selling right away on their own website.
"WooCommerce is an open source eCommerce plugin for WordPress, the popular blogging platform."
Ecommerce websites don't need to be complicated. In fact, they are very easy to set up. The first step to creating a functional website is choosing a hosting service.

Best Hosting For WooCommerce
The best host for your site depends on what you are looking for and how much you want to spend. If you want a basic WordPress site and don't need much technical assistance out of your host, any shared hosting plan should do the trick. Shared hosting plans come in all shapes and sizes, and most of them provide enough space for setting up a simple WooCommerce storefront.
If you want to go down the more technical route, a VPS or dedicated server are the best choices. They both come with built-in installation of WooCommerce, making it easier to set up a storefront.
Which Hosting Is Best For Me?
There is no 'best' hosting for WooCommerce— it all depends on what you want from your website. If you are just looking for a basic WordPress site and don't need much technical support then shared hosting should work perfectly fine. If you want something more comprehensive and robust, then VPS or dedicated servers should be your best bet.
Another factor to consider when choosing a hosting provider is how much you want to spend. Every hosting provider has different price points and features, so the prices can vary quite a bit. With some providers, you can get your basic website set up for as little as $9 per month.

What's The Best WooCommerce Host?
To find the best WooCommerce host for you, take a look at these hosting reviews:
"Everything Works"
Best cheap host: Bluehost "Achieves Most Things"

In addition to the reviews, take a look at the different plans each host has to offer. How much disk space do they provide? How much bandwidth? What kind of website can you build with their service? When it comes to hosting, bigger is better, and your potential customers will appreciate it if your site loads quickly.

Setting Up A Website For WooCommerce
The next step to starting an online business is setting up a website— which means choosing WordPress as your CMS. With WordPress comes its own installation process, which can be frustrating for some. But don't worry! This section takes you through the basics of setting up a WordPress website for your eCommerce store.
Step 1: Install WordPress
The first step to setting up and running your online store is installing WordPress. There are a ton of options for hosting WordPress on the market, but WP Engine is my personal favorite. As far as I'm concerned, they have it all: great customer service, knowledgeable representatives, and effective solutions to common problems.

Step 2 : Install WooCommerce
Then you will want to install WooCommerce by typing in the following command into your shell:
$ wp plugin install woocommerce --activate

Step 3 : Create A Shop With WooCommerce

WooCommerce works with the built-in default WordPress page builder, but for this example we're going to use Divi. We'll be setting up the email option to sell our products, and we can add WooCommerce to the existing theme. We'll do this by creating a new instance of Divi and then adding it to our page builder.

Click on "Add New" and choose "Divi Builder".
The next step is all about adding content to our shop. On the left-hand side, there are some prebuilt layouts that you can use, but those might not work for your needs. Instead, select the blank one and click "Add Element".

In the box that pops up, choose "Product" and click "Next". This is where you add a description of the product and add a photo. Below that is a box where you can change the price. When you're done editing, click "Save & Close".

Now you have your first product set up! Now go back to your homepage, and create as many pages as you like. As we did with the Divi theme, we'll save these in our portfolio. Click on "Add New" and select the blank option again. This time, choose "Single Page".

The first thing to do here is add an image— which in this case will be an image of the product image. The second step is adding a title that tells people what the product is and how much you're charging for it. The last thing we need to do here is make sure that our categories are set up correctly. In the categories box, select the checkboxes next to "Manage your Categories".

Finally, click "Next" and then save your page. Now we'll save these pages in our WooCommerce archives. To do this click on "Manage Products", then click on "Add New" and choose "WooCommerce: Products".
Now you can scroll through your archives and view any products that you've created so far.
To create a new product, click on "Add New" and choose "WooCommerce: Products".
This will open up a box where you can upload your product. As you can tell by the title, this is a product page for our first woocommerce item. Click "Next" and then save your page.
Click on "Manage Categories", then scroll to the bottom of the list and click on "Add New" next to our category which we named after our company (the name of the site). You should see that the word "Woosite" has been added to our categories list.
The next step is setting up WooCommerce to use our existing theme.

If you've managed to make it through all of that, then good for you! Now you'll have a website that looks nicer than most and has basic functionality, but with some effort on your part it can look better and be more useful. The steps outlined in this article will get your business off the ground quickly, allowing you to focus on the most important part: creating more products.
Is WOO an eCommerce WordPress Theme? It is not just a theme but an entire Ecommerce solution. The features include Ecommerce Plugin which simplifies your work and increases sales! The WooCommerce integrated system helps to sell products easier via simpler interface. It also has page builder which allows you to create unique layouts for your store pages.
