Get Ready For Halloween Today!

 Get Ready For Halloween Today!

Get ready for Halloween on November 1st by celebrating a spooky night with your friends. Here are some great suggestions to help you get ready, including an easy-to-follow list of what you need to do today:

1) Get some orange and black paint, white paint, and brushes. Paint your house or apartment! Decorate as scary as you want--nobody will see it but you.
2) Look up haunted houses near you that are open for this day only. Make the rounds, enjoying all the scares one can handle! Be careful walking home alone in the dark though...
3) Looking for something different and exciting? Try a costume party! Liven up a party with costumes. Props, masks, and more can make the evening fun.
4) Have a dance party on Halloween night in your living room. Let it get crazy and wild as you move to your favorite music. A dance floor makes the party even better!
5) Take an evening walk through town or a park after Halloween has ended...just to feel all spooky and creepy (and responsible).
6) Visit haunted houses on Halloween night only! Be sure to check out the hours of operation before you go so you don't get stuck in one place (or locked out).
7) Eat lots of candy. Send some home with your friends and neighbors. Make a list of who you want to send candy home with so it gets back to the right place.
8) Take part in an annual trick or treating event, if your town has one! If it is well-organized, treat those in charge to a box or two.
9) Get ready for Halloween today! Stay up late, sleep in late...just have a great time getting ready for this fun holiday. . . . . . . . . . . . .

Looking For A Few Good Hands
Have you ever been stuck in a place where you had no one to hold your hand? Here's some good news: I've got five hands that are ready and willing to hold yours! Please meet my new friends:
1. For all you "I'm Not A Stuffed Animal" people, this hand will feel just like a stuffed animal--but it's real!
2. This hand is for those who would like to experience virtuality. If you want to feel like a mouse or a bird, no problemo!
3. This hand seems to disappear when viewed from above. It will hold your hand in the air as if it were made of smoke or fog--but it's not!
4. This hand conveniently fits into most pockets and purses and can be carried around wherever you go!
5. This last hand is very soft and gentle, but it will do anything that the other four hands can do, so don't expect it to be gentle all the time.
************************************************************************* *PAGE BACKER* [DESCRIPTION: A girl is sitting in a box shaped like a rounded seat. She holds a curtain or blanket in front of her face in an attempt to hide what she's doing.] ************************************************************************* *Girl:* (With a shy, nervous tone) "Guess what?" (Pause) "I'm on my way to my first sleepover!" I hope you feel like this hand is too small for you. . . . . . . . . . .
* * * * * * **FRESH PAINT** [DESCRIPTION: A husband and wife are painting the girl's room. The husband is standing, wearing a beige jacket and blue jeans. The wife sits at an angle from him on a stool, wearing a pink jacket and green pants. Paint colors visible in the room include: yellow, red, white and blue.] ************************************************************************* *Wife:* (With a proud tone) "We painted your whole room today." (Pause) "It was exhausting." I hope y ou feel like this hand is too big for you.
