The Business of Torture

 The Business of Torture

Torture is a human rights violation that has plagued mankind for centuries and has only recently been recognized as such. The subject may be difficult, but the need for further discussion can not be overstated.

Torture is a difficult topic to tackle: it deals with violence against people, police misconduct, and more. Yet there exist many ways of avoiding torture, both on an individual level and on a national level; this post covers both of these aspects to provide you with some hope in this unsettling situation.

Much of the information and resources available are from advocates and followers of the anti-torture movement, often those who have had experience with torture themselves. The following sources provide a comprehensive list of relevant links for those wishing to learn about torture, both as an individual or on a national level.

This knowledge may help ease a difficult transition into the 21st century, where authoritarianism is all too common and terrorism in large numbers is threatening human rights across the globe.

I hope this post helped you become a better person, or at least aware of torture in all it's forms so you can help spread this information to your friends and family. Please comment down below if you have any questions or would like me to explain more about an aspect of torture.
