 Why Network Marketing Sucks

Every now and then, you'll come across a business that seems too good to be true. That's because it is. There are many reasons for why networks don't work, but the most significant are this: loyalty and trust.

Everyone else around you is doing everything they can to get ahead of you in the pyramid and leave you behind with nothing to show for it. It’s like they know there’s something wrong with what they're selling, but they’re just trying to profit from your good intentions.

My Experience

I remember when I was in a telco marketing company. I had great attitude, worked my schedule and put in all the hours needed to be successful. However, I couldn't seem to find a single person who would sign up under me. Just a few people signed up under me while everyone else was signing up under the upline. This is called “sheeple” behavior in the industry and it's very common. Repeating what you've heard from your upline without any personal research or opinions of your own will keep you at the bottom of the pyramid with nothing but regret.

Don't Fall For the Hype

The misconception of how things work in network marketing is that you cannot make money unless you recruit others. You cannot be successful in gaining a market share unless you have a strong downline. You will not be making any money unless you convince at least 5 people to sign up each month under your name. These are all common misconceptions and I’m sure you’ve been told one or more of these lies at some point in your network marketing career.

My Advice

If you think that network marketing is going to give you financial freedom, think again.

All you're doing is spending your time, money and energy to build a product that won't give you any results. Even if you do make it far enough up the pyramid to actually sell a product, chances are that you’ll be earning so little that they’ll leave you behind. Network marketing is simply a pyramid scheme where everyone profits except for the person on the bottom.

My Answer

Don’t waste your time with networks or other types of scams that are out there. Find a product that you actually believe in. There are many different opportunities out there like Amazon or eBay, so make sure you only use those platforms if you’re willing to put in the time and effort to build your own business.

You Can Successfully Build a Business

This is the most important aspect of making money online. You can succeed in marketing your product and make it profitable. In any business, there are many people who make a lot of money while others don’t. It’s all about how hard you work and putting in the time to reach your goal. As long as you continue working, then one day you will make it up to the top and finally quit your job.

Conclusion

There’s no doubt that network marketing isn’t as bad as it seems. The problem is that people aren’t successful because they don’t put in the effort to be successful. You always have to ask yourself: “Why am I doing this in the first place? Why do I even want to start a business like this? What are my goals in life? What kind of lifestyle do I hope to have after this whole thing is over? Once you figure out these answers, you can start on the path to success. Don’t let others decide for you what you should do with your life. Only you have the power to decide what you want to do and how you want to live.
