What It Takes To Be Number One!

We all want to be number one, right? It's the ultimate measure of success.

But what does it really take to become the best at anything? What are the secrets of success?
Should you always follow your passion in life or can you develop expertise in any area you want? And what about obstacles - why do some people encounter so many more hurdles than others and when are they worth pushing through anyway? If there is any person who has mastered these skills of accomplishment, it's Arnold Schwarzenegger. In this fascinating interview with Arnold Schwarzenegger, we explore his daily routines (including 15-minute break for every hour of work), his insights into overcoming obstacles and developing expertise.

How do you make sure you get the most out of your day?
I always ask myself, how can I get more done in less time? It's all about time management. I learned to plan my days and stick to schedules, but also to be flexible when necessary. And if that doesn't work, then I change what I'm doing entirely. That's why I travel with a suitcase full of trading cards and books that remind me of the things I really want to do in life. That way, whether or not a day goes as planned, I can still find time for those other things that are most important to me.
Here are some tips from Arnold Schwarzenegger:
1. Make sure you're focused in your daily activities. Resist distractions as much as possible.
2. Stick to your work schedule. You need to be completely dedicated to what you're doing at that particular moment or else you'll start procrastinating, feeling frustrated, and generally turning down new opportunities out of fear that they won't be right for you.
3. Make sure you give yourself a break for every hour of work you do - schedule time for it into your day if necessary. Every hour of concentrated effort is an hour closer to success! And if things are taking too much time, then leave a little early or cancel the rest of the day's plans!
4. Understand the importance of consistency. If you're not consistent in your work, then you'll never end up where you want to be.
5. Learn how to deal with setbacks and failures - keep your cool if you stumble!
6. Be careful about picking up new skills at a later stage in life - they may seem like a good idea now, but they may end up being difficult once you've already gotten the hang of them. I recommend that people don't quit their job to pursue their passion for 3 years after getting their first paycheck... They should instead wait until they're earning enough to support themselves and their future lifestyle needs before making such career decisions!
7. Always remember: you're only as good as your last job. If you've done a great job on something in the past, then it's likely that you'll be able to make that same quality of work again in the future.
8. It's always important to have a goal or an objective - make sure you have one!
Of course, there are many more points I could add here... and I strongly suggest that everyone read this interview! In fact, I think everyone should adopt some of these ideas into their own lives, especially if they'd like to achieve success of any kind.
I definitely recommend checking out Arnold Schwarzenegger's book, Total Recall... it's a great read for those who want to get into the mindset of someone who owns his days and is making the most of his life. I suggest reading it every few months or so and taking notes on the action steps that you want to implement.
9. Don't put off any opportunity - if it's something you really want to do, then take action today!
- Believe in yourself and your ability to succeed. You will get there eventually if you put in enough time and effort!
- Don't ever give up on your dreams. I was once just like you, and now I'm the top bodybuilder in the world. You can be the number one at anything you do if you're willing to work hard enough!
10. Be yourself:   try to have fun and enjoy your life, but don't take things too seriously. Life is meant to be enjoyed and learning about different fields of interest that you enjoy should be a priority instead of pursuing fame or money.
11. Don't repeat the same mistakes over and over again. Learn from them and move on!
12. Remember to make sure that everything you do contributes in some way to making your dreams a reality!
- You can get stuck in a rut if you're working on something that isn't really fulfilling you or making progress towards your goals... so actively look for ways to improve yourself, learn new skills, improve relationships, etc.
- If you're not doing what you really want to do, don't be afraid to leave it behind and move onto something else!
13. Have a positive attitude:   think about all the great things that have happened to you and don't let yourself think about the things that have really been hard for you. You can always turn things around in your life if you take control of your thoughts!
14. Don't get so wrapped up in your plans that you forget about the important things in life - such as love, family, friends and more!
15. Don't feel sorry for yourself when things go wrong; instead, learn from them!
16. Remember to set goals for yourself and make a plan on how you'll achieve them. Write it all down if you have to!
17. Be willing to do whatever it takes to succeed - make sacrifices, put in the hard work, learn from your mistakes!
18. Make sure you know what success means for you - it could be different for everyone. Just figure out what is important to you and go for it with everything you've got!
19. Get rid of the people in your life who are holding you back and making decisions based on what's easy instead of what's right! You need people around you who support your goals and dreams...

Conclusion:
That's all I have for now - I'm not sure if anyone else has any final points or thoughts to add on this topic? If so, please feel free to contact me at abdltrainer@yahoo.com and let me know what you think.
Final Thoughts :
Learning how to become a good leader has been one of the most worthwhile skills I've gained while I've been working on this website and dealing with online businesses. Before then, I never really thought about what mattered most in life or how to make the right decisions in business...
