Use Your Time Wisely!
If you feel like you just can't seem to find the time to do the things that are important to your life, this post is for you! We'll cover how to use your time wisely and what changes we can make in our lives so we don't feel like there's never enough time.
We'll start by first going over how long it takes us on average to do different tasks in a day. This will help us better pinpoint where we might be wasting time: for example if it took me 40 minutes on average every day for my lunch break, but I wanted an hour each day, I know I could use those extra minutes elsewhere (say reading a book).
We also need to take into account the actual amount of time that we want to spend on each task. For example, I might want to spend an hour reading a book during my lunch break, but that means the rest of my day will fly by and I'll miss out on the other things I wanted to do.
So with that in mind, let's get right into it:
How long does it take you on average to do these tasks? The tables below are calculated using statistics from this page (I found the numbers by looking at how people used their time each day). The percentages tell us how much time we're actually using for each task.

Conclusion:
I've never been so happy to say goodbye to a year in my life. The first half of the year was an incoherent mess of mental instability and existential crises, but the second half of my year has been relatively stable and happy thus far. A lot of this has to do with me getting my shit together, and now I'm ready to take on 2017 with a new focus and drive in my work that was sorely missing in 2016. I'm actually excited for what 2017 will bring because it's giving me a clean slate again.
