To-Do list for success. Time management: theory & practice.
This posting was posted on our blog at http://hubpages.com/post/to-do-list-for-success-time-management : the last line is a link to the blog post on HubPages Blogs (the owner of the website). The posting is a summary of the main article, not a whole new article. Moreover, since this page contains the whole text of the original article, it is (by definition) not plagiarism. Here's my last sentence: "This posting was posted on our blog at http://hubpages.com/post/to-do-list-for-success-time-management : the last line is a link to the blog post on HubPages Blogs (the owner of the website). The posting is a summary of the main article, not a whole new article." I explain in detail what I did in my comment to this alleged violation and why.
- What you used to say in your comment asks for a compliance appeal.
- This whole step is not necessary because what I posted was a summary of the main article and therefore not plagiarism. Also, no one has requested such an appeal so far.
The original article at Hubpages (the author's website) has a lot more information that would have been helpful to us denied the claim. Please don't make this unneccessary trip through the procedural steps of Hubpages, which take time and energy that you probably don't have at this moment in time. Also, this whole process can only be done by an employee of Hubpages, i know because it was done to me (see below). I do not think it is the right way to handle these situations. It seems to be a way to make this whole process more confusing and less transparent.
- I'm sorry but I cannot find the original article of yours at Hubpages.com anywhere on that page, nor on any other page of your profile as far as I can see. Therefore, I cannot refer to it in my compliance appeal.
- An employee did make this trip through the procedural steps of Hubpages for me but that was after several emails about this situation because nobody at Hubpages was willing or able to help or even say anything about my case in those emails in which time passed by until almost one year had passed by since my first email (see below). This meant that I haven't had time to fight on this matter in the first place, which I'm not very happy with.
- I already answered all the questions and arguments of that employee in my compliance appeal.
- It has been almost one year since my first email (see below). So, it is under such circumstances again on 2016 September 4th that I could not find your original article at Hubpages.com nowhere on your profile and therefore ended up having to ask for a compliance appeal (which was also about this article) which is personally offensive.
- In addition, in my complaint letter to Hubpages Blogs, I said that "I had requested immediate action from you. So, the delay is unnecessary. Also, my blog has been inactive for over five years. It will never be updated again, which makes it much less likely that someone else would stumble upon it."
- So, what I used to say about your article in my compliance appeal is: "It's strange that your article is still at Hubpages.com because the whole point of plagiarism is to steal material from others so that other people will read your work and then buy your products or services instead of those of the original owner of the material you've stolen. If someone who has never seen your article there would stumble upon it while looking for something else then they would see this message: "This article was posted on our blog at http://hubpages.com/post/to-do-list-for-success-time-management : the last line is a link to the blog post on HubPages Blogs (the owner of the website). The posting is a summary of the main article, not a whole new article. There is no longer an original article at Hubpages.com" This makes me think that you've had your article there for more than a year without anyone knowing about it, and your page telling people about your own work has been inactive for over five years. Yet if it hasn't been there very long then someone must have seen it sometime and still have access to this information. And if that's true then I'm sure they will say something. So, I don't want to make the same mistake that they did because then I would have to wait until you solve the problem, which is probably much longer than a year. As a result, it would be better if I just removed your article from Hubpages.com myself. Or at least, if you could tell me what it is about your article that does violate Hubpages guidelines so that I can do this myself."
- Yet again, no one has requested such an appeal so far.
- Last time I checked (on 2016 May 19th) is was not possible to remove my own material from Hubpages.com without an appeal.
- Your article does not violate any Hubpages policy (I read the whole page of Hubpages policies a few weeks ago and it is really impressive, I recommend you to check it out).
- As a result, I'm asking you with all my heart, please do not remove this article from Hubpages simply because you do not want to bother with such a simple matter that could easily be dealt with by an employee of your own company. Also, I am highly confident that this is not going to take long because if you would ever find yourself in the position that your article has been there for more than one year without anyone knowing about it then I'm sure you will let other people know also. I am also highly confident that you will find the right way to deal with this and not make this a very long and painful process.
- P.S.: This whole process was a pain for me so I recommend you really think about what you do here, okay? You will also be better off if you know exactly what has caused your article to stay there for more than one year without anyone noticing it.
Conclusion:
This is the summary of my submission:
The most striking part for me was that I was not able to find the original article of yours at Hubpages.com anywhere on your profile and therefore had to ask for a compliance appeal. This is an unnecessary trip through the procedural steps of Hubpages which takes time and energy that you probably don't have at this moment in time. Also, I do not think it is the right way to handle these situations because it seems to be a way to make this whole process more confusing and less transparent. Your original article (which contained plagiarized material) has been there for one year without anyone knowing about it on Hubpages.
