You Can Change Your Destiny
Most people believe that their destiny is out of their control. I used to agree with them, but now I know the truth. Our destiny is in our hands; we have a chance to make it whatever we want it to be. It all begins with the first decision after we wake up from slumbering in the cocoon of our past lives and before we continue on through life’s next chapter. The first step on this journey starts with an idea, any idea: something you want more of in your life, a different perspective on your problems, or even hope for a better future. This mere thought, if acted upon, can change your destiny.
We don’t have to be religious, spiritual or superstitious to believe that we all have a higher power watching over us. On some level I feel like there are multiple universes running simultaneously and our actions in one universe will affect its outcome in another. Ultimately though, we get to make our own decisions and only we ourselves bear the consequences of those actions. And regardless of how you look at it, there is no fate but what we create for ourselves.
Don’t get me wrong; there are some big factors in life that will affect our odds, like the company we keep, the type of person we are and our outward appearances. If you have friends who struggle with drugs and crime, it’s likely you will too unless you make a conscious effort to avoid such situations. There are many tangible examples of this principle at work. Simply put though, your friends can’t change your destiny for you; only you can do that for yourself.
The same applies to your appearance. There are a million different ways to appear successful, wealthy, and attractive. I would never aspire to become someone else simply by emulating the way they dress or act. You see, it is possible for us to change our outward appearance without changing our inner self. We just have to know how. There are a few things we can do to make ourselves more appealing:
1) Exercise: This is the number one thing that will make you feel better about yourself and more confident in the way you look. Exercise can be anything from yoga postures, jogging around a track or playing basketball for hours on end. The important thing is to actually do it and make it a part of your routine.
2) Dressing well: The way you present yourself to the world can have a profound impact on the way you are perceived. If you like dressing well, then by all means make it a priority in your everyday life. But there is no need to spend thousands of dollars on designer clothes if that isn’t your cup of tea. It boils down to just a few things: smell good (not overpowering fragrance), present yourself well (no dirty or torn clothes) and most importantly, feel good about the way you look (don’t wear something that doesn’t fit right).
3) Keep your chin up and your head high: it’s important to carry yourself with confidence. When you have a good look about you, people will want to approach you. People want to know what’s on the inside, not just the outside. If you are negative or cynical, then don’t even try. People can tell from the first moment of meeting you. Make a conscious effort to always be positive and present an aura of success. The way you feel about yourself is what influences others; if you don’t think well of yourself, then most people won’t feel the same way about you either and that can lead to a lot of difficult situations down the road.
4) Surround yourself with successful people: you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with. If your friends do nothing but complain about things then that’s what you will start doing too. If they are constantly rushing around trying to take control of their lives, then so will you. Instead, aim for optimism and success. Surround yourself with people who have a style that you admire and respect; it will rub off on you in time.
These are just a few ways to change your outlook on life and thus change your destiny. It all starts with that little voice in your head telling you that you are destined for more. Make a habit of listening to it, taking action, and the rest will fall into place.
Leaders are those who make others believe they can achieve great things and inspire them to do so. They don’t just talk about it, they lead by example and never quit until the job is done right and people take notice. They become a beacon for change – a champion for new ideas with a vision for what can be achieved if we all work together towards the same goal. This is what you must do if you want your destiny to change in the blink of an eye.
The same applies to yourself. Leaders are visionaries who create a brilliant future for themselves and others. When they have a plan, they go after it with all the passion they can muster and are willing to do whatever it takes to get there; even if it means sacrificing what’s most precious to them. They understand that the only thing that really matters is the final result, no matter how hard or painful that road might be for them along the way.
Do you want your destiny to change? Then make sure your vision is set on a great achievement – something exciting and profound enough to motivate you every single day of your life until you achieve it in fact. What’s more promising than the ultimate goal, right?
The good news is that it’s never too late to change your destiny. Destiny is not a fixed point; it can change as quickly as you make the decision to do so. The path you choose determines your destiny and how quickly you will be able to achieve your goals. If you are tired of being tired and tired of seeing the same old results in life after life, then I urge you to make a change. This way, instead of being destined for failure, you will be destined for great things! You just have to decide what that really means for yourself and then take action accordingly.
My vision is simple. I want to create an incredible life for myself and I want to inspire millions of men and women to do the same.
That is my dream and it’s yours too if you dare be different. Your destiny is waiting for you on the other side of that hill. So make sure you are ready for your next adventure. You are only a step away from making a new beginning! Let’s take that step together!
