With our society focusing on higher and higher expectations, it's easy to lose sight of the benefits of forgiveness. Society tends to associate forgiveness with weakness, or a threat to one's wellbeing. But what do we stand to gain from forgiving someone who has wronged us?
The benefits of forgiveness are incalculable. They include:
