"Tough times never last, but tough people do."

No matter what hardship you are currently facing, it will not last. It is in the darkest hours when we are at our strongest. The good times will return, and you will be able to take on your future challenges with a renewed vigor. But for the moment, it is important to remind yourself that a strong person does not succumb to adversity but instead overcomes it and moves forward with renewed hope and strength. Remember that tomorrow is always another day, and with time resilience can even change tragedy into triumph!

The Internet
Inventing Life
Many people nowadays think they know everything they need to know about life without going anywhere or learning anything new. They believe they have a complete understanding of life and that they can apply themselves in any situation. Truth is, life happens, and we are not always aware or even able to make correct decisions on how we are going to react when it occurs.
A good example of this is the story of Inventing Life, which is based on the true story of Jacques Diemer. In the early 1960's Diemer was riding his motorbike through a forest in France on his way home from work when he had an accident. He was thrown off his bike and landed heavily into a tree. Being severely injured, he was unable to move or communicate what had happened to him. The only way he could get help was to create a sign that said "Help, go home." He then used the pen in his pocket to scrawl the message.
This story is like many others where people with one bad event in their life can use this as an opportunity to discover something new about themselves, how they work and what they are capable of doing. Even though Diemer could not move or communicate, he still had his mind. He knew how to think, draw a map and do hundreds of other things with his body, making him an excellent test subject for experimenting on how the human body reacts when you are hurt badly.
It is something that most people over look, and a lot of times, people walk around all day thinking they are fine until they pass out or something happens that makes them think otherwise. Getting hurt or even dying can be an exciting experience as it gives you a whole new outlook on your life and even yourself. But you are not always aware of this, and you will never know until it happens.
One thing everyone should do in their lifetime is go out of their comfort zone at least once. Just remember to always be alert and prepared because whether you know it or not, your future is never written in stone; it is only a temporary idea we have come up with so far.
Halloween
Halloween is a day of tricks and treats and remembering the ancestral beliefs of tricksters and witches who used to roam the earth in the old days. It is a throwback to darker times when there was more fear and superstition than there is now.
The nature of Halloween reflects how we are in our daily lives; it is a fun day, but it has its own dark side as well. Violence and mischief are part life's biggest problems. As we grow up, we are often scared that these things, which we were once allowed to do at times, will be taken away from us for some reason or another.
It is all about learning how to control fear in different ways. If you can do that, you will be a lot stronger and better capable of coping with the problems that occur each day in our lives.
The people who are most afraid of losing something they already have, do not have it anyway. The people who are most scared of losing everything they have ever had, never had anything to begin with. Perhaps it is true what they say: "There is nothing to fear but fear itself."
Religion
Religion is a big part of the human existence and many people realize this on a deep level through their actions. Culture shapes our belief systems too.
