People with success usually have one or two irrationally passionate things they care about. Some, like billionaires and top celebrities, can talk endlessly about their passions — others, like the average Joe's wife and kids, might not even realize what their passions are.
But those who succeed share a common trait: they are passionately committed to something that is important to them.
It's impossible not to want to learn more about it after you hear "successful person" speak of it constantly. And as it turns out, that enthusiasm is contagious! Other people will start paying attention when you mention your passion and soon enough there will be a workable plan in place for your new dream project.
The First Few Steps Towards Your Passion
The first thing you need to do is to figure out what irrationally passionate things you are interested in. Think of the topic and focus on it, write down the things that come to your mind and try not to think about anything else. Keep going until you feel that your list is complete and then, think of other things related to it. For example Google "How can I be more passionate about art?" – read all the articles and try each tip out. After a few weeks or months pass, go through your new insights and see if anything got added to your list.
It's important to note that passion isn't just one thing either. Maybe there are several things you are passionate about and each of those deserve equal attention. Maybe you will be passionate about doing something like: Painting, Poetry, Acting and Architectural Design. Don't worry if that's the case — just keep going until you feel satisfied with your list.
Although it is important to note that passion isn't one thing either...
Be Aware of What You're Passionate About
After you figure out what your passions are, make sure to notice it! For example, let's say you love playing with Legos — the moment that realization hits; get it on your calendar or something similar and make a reminder for yourself. As it turns out, you're going to find that other people are also into Legos and every time you see one at the store, bring it back home with you. Of course, after a while you will find that you'll have a stack of Lego's in your house and friends are always coming over to play with it...
In short: don't ignore how your passions manifest — when they do, the law of attraction is going to manifest for you!
Don't Wait for "Signs"
Finding passion can be easy if you wait for signs like "I must follow my dream" or something similar. Of course, all of us do this at least once in our lives. But the problem with that approach is that we don't really know what signs to look for.
So in order to create a culture of passion around you, become an observer of your own life and be open to inspiration. What comes first?
You or your passion?
For example, maybe you were inspired by a movie or artist; but not your job and not sure what you'll do with your life. All of a sudden you see an artist's work that intrigues your imagination and so it leads you to experimenting with something new. From that point on, you realize that it is exactly what you wanted to do in life!
The important thing here is to always be open to inspiration. Use this time to observe the things and people around you, they will show you what kind of passion may be hidden in your imagination and waiting to come out.
Take Action
The main idea here is: take action! Find a way to bring your passions into reality and make sure that everyone else knows about it. You can use Facebook or Twitter, YouTube or blogs but remember: the key point here is action.
