Narcissistic Leaders

There are many different types of leaders in the world. There are those who have an altruistic personality, those who have a nurturing personality, and everyone else falls somewhere in between. With that being said there is one type of leader in particular that has come to the forefront lately: narcissists. Narcissists make up only five percent of all leaders yet they can affect how their co-workers feel about their jobs, how employees perceive their company brand, and how much people trust them on a personal level. They are able to see others as objects to be manipulated for their own benefit and because of this, they can cause damage in the long-term by having an ethos of "power above all else" that can have ripple effects within the workplace.

How Narcissists Impact Society: Narcissists have a sense of entitlement that makes them think that they are above the law and deserve whatever it is that they ask for or expect. This is why with narcissistic leaders, we now have people such as Donald Trump in office literally breaking laws by not properly fulfilling his duties as ( Source ) .
