J. Jackson is an active member of the Los Angeles Salsa community. He has performed at numerous schools, social events, and studio dances throughout the Southern California area. He has also taught classes and workshops for many students in the community to further his passion for salsa dancing.
Jackson is also a partner in a production company called DJM Productions. DJM Productions produced a short film as well as two local commercials in the Los Angeles area that can be seen on various websites such as Patch.com and ABC7news.com .
Jackson is currently married and living in La Verne, CA with his wife and son named Julian Jackson Jr..
