3. Get organized. Establishing a place where you can keep all the things that are important for reaching your goal will help you be more consistent in taking the steps needed to achieve it. Put it right in front of you, so you have to look at it and think about your goal every time you reach for something else. Use an everyday tool like a planner to keep track of key information and write down action steps as they occur to you throughout the day.

4. Be realistic. Always start with the end in mind, but don't overwhelm yourself by setting an overly aggressive goal that doesn't take into account everything you'll need to do along the way. When we feel low in self esteem, it is a result of a series of mistakes we have made with ourselves. It is important to understand the cause of low self esteem in order to not repeat the same mistakes over and over again. The cause of low self esteem has great significance in helping us work on building our sense of self, confidence, and pride. It is also important to be aware that self-esteem is a great deal more than feeling good about ourselves.
The Cause Of Low Self Esteem
Our self esteem is related to our beliefs , values and emotions . Our beliefs are defined by the standards or rules that we have for ourselves. This can be understood by understanding what value has to do with our beliefs. In simple terms, if I believe that I am an excellent father, then this belief will only have value if I have achieved something which confirms my belief as true . For example, if I have raised a child who is now an honours student at a prestigious university, then I know that my belief has value.
A belief needs to be supported by action in order for us to feel good about ourselves.  Beliefs need to be linked to experience in order for them to feel valid. On the other hand, our values are based on what we believe to be important . A man might believe that morality is important and that he must make ethical decisions but this belief will only have value if he lives his life according to this principle .

Conclusion
In order for us to feel good about ourselves, our beliefs and values have to be supported by action in the real world. Also, our self-esteem is strengthened as we achieve goals and succeed at what we do. This is why it is so important to understand how self-esteem works . Furthermore, when we feel good about ourselves, this makes us confident and proud. 
So the cause of low self esteem is related to the way you think about yourself . The cause of low self esteem may include a belief that you are not good enough or that you don't measure up.
