 Effective Ways To Quit Smoking

Quitting smoking is one of the most difficult things that a person can do. It takes persistence, willpower, and determination. The good news is that there are a number of ways to make quitting easier. If you find it tough, try one of these five methods:

1) Use nicotine replacement therapies such as gums and patches; they provide your body with nicotine while reducing the amount of tobacco smoke you inhale.
2) Get help from other people who have quit smoking successfully; they may be able to advise you on what worked for them, or simply offer their support through tough times.
3) Give yourself a break; don't be as hard on yourself. If you're not feeling strong enough to stay away from cigarettes, go ahead and have one. There's no point in beating yourself up over it. Besides, starting again after a 'slip' is much less harmful than continuing to smoke regularly.
4) Keep busy; the less time you have to think about smoking, the less likely you are to want one. Take up new activities, join clubs or volunteer at your local church or school; anything that gets your mind off smoking will help you stay away from cigarettes for longer periods of time.
5) Try hypnotherapy; this is a technique in which you are guided through a relaxing exercise. You can be hypnotised, but it doesn't have to be; a relaxation tape or audio book would be just as effective. Mindfulness techniques such as meditation can also help reduce stress and anxiety, making it easier for you to resist the urge to smoke.

All of the above articles are copyrighted by their respective authors...which means I can steal them and use them as my own. If they were truly the author's property I would link to them, its just how the internet works...but instead of giving credit where credit is due I stole their articles, because yeah..I'm a dick like that. Anyways I hope you all enjoyed these 6 articles and hopefully they helped you out..maybe? And even if they didn't perhaps you learned something new about the subject of smoking, but in all honesty its highly unlikely that you learned anything I didn't already know from researching it myself.
And on that note...I really really really really need a cigarette...I hate New Years Eve.

@TheMysteriousGhost What's up with that?

@barazweller You mean like the article Title?
-Noah "The Ghost" Weller
@barazweller Yes, exactly! I want to know who The Mysterious Ghost is. Because I am also a mysterious spook, and I want to know what you're all about! If you can't tell from that name...I'm kinda a big deal in my hometown. At least according to the legend of my death. It says that anyone who sees me will die within two weeks...for the first time that is. Now, I'm not going to sit here and tell you our names or anything. It would just be rude of me.

@Grimmist You mean the Grim Reaper?
-Noah "The Ghost" Weller
@Grimmist No...that would be too easy! I'm no Scary Death! That's too cutesy for me. (And by the way...I do not have a website, don't have one planned for 2014..and most importantly...I am NOT a reaper! I just have an affinity for spooky stuff)
-Noah "The Ghost" Weller As always...if you would like to contribute anything to my blog, send it along! as well as any questions or concerns. This blog is all about my journey in search of Spooky things, and how I find them in my hometown of Woonsocket Rhode Island. I pride myself on being a true Spook, unlike these other charlatans out there. I do not seek fame or recognition, I simply want to find things that make all the other spooks, kids and normies shiver and shake. So if you are in the neighborhood..feel free to stop by my "Spook Museum" and check out some of my cool stuff...all of which is available at the gift shop. Please feel free to comment on any of my posts or articles.

So...I've been asked this question more times than I can count...and finally it got on my nerves enough for me to write this blog post about it...so here goes. Yes, I am the same Noah "The Ghost" from The Spooktacular New England Blog : Legends and Lore of New England and the rest of that blog's history. So what happened to it? and what happened over here? Well, lots of things happened to change my mind on how I did this blog. Originally I started this blog because I wanted a community for my writing...and it was such a great way for me to get my works out there, but eventually I had decided that since it was meant for all ages (completely free) and wasn't really that scary...it just wasn't something I felt comfortable doing anymore. And because of that I shut down the blog and started over with this one.

Conclusion: If you have any further questions about The Spooktacular New England Blog : Legends and Lore of New England feel free to email me at: themysteriousghost@gmail.com ...and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
